Silt Road and a 99 with a flake on the promenade: Brighton Festival.

There are only a few tickets left for my Silt Road reading and talk at the Brighton Festival this coming Saturday. The event begins at 3pm and will be in the Brighton Dome Founders Room, not far from the station. I will be in conversation with John Andrews, Caught by the River’s fellow of Arcadian words and author of the wonderful fishing and family memoir For All Those Left Behind. And I will be reading passages from Silt Road. It will, I hope, be an entertainingly meandering meditation on subjects as diverse as lost rivers and ghostly trout, bodgers and chalkI’ll be more than happy to chat afterwards and to sign books if I am lucky enough to be asked. I’ll see you there I hope.

Tickets can be bought here and the last few are available on a two for one deal if you quote this reference when you book: RIVER241.
