Not Gone Fishin’

A total absence of activity on here lately can be explained by the slight life interruption that has become the Norfolk Rivers Trust.

Mindful of the fact that Norfolk was missing out on the potential to restore its beleaguered rivers because there was no rivers trust, I took the plunge last autumn and with a few colleagues kicked into life an organisation that already has two (soon to be three) employees, that has won bids against projects on the rivers Nar, Stiffkey and Glaven and a big sponsorship deal with WWF UK.

So it’s all good and worthwhile especially when you see a project conceived, funded and delivered as we did earlier this month on the Nar at Castle Acre.
