Caught by the River Lea

cbtr-east-fest-poster-12

Off uptown on Sunday (though the festival begins Saturday 27th) to Queen Elisabeth Park, East London, where I will read with fellow river-dweller John Andrews – Silt Road meets Babylon uptown. Please come along if you are knocking about with nothing better to do … and what could be better than an afternoon in the Caught by the River tent? Mucking about on a river? Same thing, virtually.

I’m gutted that I’m not there the same day as The Waterboys – see the ticket link below for the line-up of other attractions – but the two-day CBTR programme is as follows:

Saturday 27th July

8.30 – Stealing Sheep
7.30 – Charlie Boyer and the Voyeurs
6.30 – Rhys Webb (DJ)
5.30 – The Rockingbirds
4.30 – Jeb Loy Nichols
3.45 – Trevor Moss & Hannah-Lou
3.15 – Bob Stanley & Pete Paphides
2.45 – Michael Smith
2.15 – Travis Elborough
1.30 – Heavenly Jukebox DJs

Sunday 28th July

8.30 – Wire
7.00 – Le Volume Courbe
6.00 – DJ Don Letts
5.30 – Viv Albertine
4.15 – Emma Warren
3.45 – John Andrews and Charles Rangeley-Wilson
3.00 – Ian Rawes
2.30 – Tom Bolton
